I am a creative Software Consultant specialized on Unix based technologies and experience in a wide range of fields such as aerospace, military, medical, telecommunications and diverse consumer products. Before doing software I was a Network Engineer. This have given me a unique experience combining software and server based solutions.

Despite having a strong passion for clean engineering practices, I do believe that software quality is also about finding the balance with the market needs of my clients. This involves matching their goals and budget with elegant and efficient solutions. Despite having a strong opinion about what makes a solid product I am not dogmatic about my beliefs and always consider any approach leading to a successful result.

I work best with C++, Python and JavaScript, specially in any scripting activity involving systems integration. I am never scared when facing “legacy” code bases. Such programming preferences, are also related with solid experience in well known frameworks such as Boost, Django, iOS, Webkit and specially Nokia-Qt, where I am a certified specialist.

I strive for beautiful, clean, usable applications that simply works. My constant attention to details makes me a serious critic of graphical interfaces with a preference for the aesthetics trends led by Apple and Google.
