This blog is for all of those digital lumberjacks out there who must deal with computers everyday but are not using them at its full potential. Technology in general is not just any tool to get the work done, properly used can enhance many aspects of your life.
Use it properly and you will be far more productive. Ignore it, then be ready to be bogged down or just lose time in things that could be done in minutes. We live in a info-bloated society where it is getting harder and harder to keep up to date while filtering the constant flow of information.
Even the most skilled engineers are not getting the best of their tools. People just don't have the time to learn properly about their worn out "saws". There are so many trees to chop down and so little time that not many know what can be really achieved, not even saying the most efficient way to do it.
If you are interested, ready to spare some time and have a kaizen style of life you might find this site... let's say amusing. That counting that you are OK with the (style of this blog) and my English, which is not my first language but even so I thought I had compelling reasons to use it when I decided (about blogging).
As far as the style of the contents you must know I am a computer scientist who have always been attracted to psychology and philosophy. Yeah right! There is no way to pull those things together... is there?
The truth is that such combination is my real personal quest. So be ready to find lots of posts with those perspectives. After all, I will work in the Digital Lumberjack trying to make technology more humane. I hope you enjoy this place!
