I am a developer based in Germany with a background in military, aerospace, medical, telecommunications and enterprise applications. Even before that I also worked as a network engineer and systems administrator. Somehow along the way, I managed to turn into an Agile development zealot.
For a long time I have been a strong defendant of mobile and wearable computing as the future of the software industry in a consumer based market economy. The users of this future are growing up with a more intimate relationship towards software in their daily life provided by a wide ecosystem of personal devices. Therefore I do believe that their expectations for cross device connectivity, socially shared information, UX and design will be disproportionally higher than today standards.
Since 2012 I decided to combine my rich professional experience and ideas about software by becoming an indie developer focused on mobile apps, mostly web and Apple related.
This is my indie journey as an exploration trying to discover not only what great software should feel like, but also bridge the gap between programming skills and what makes modern apps valuable and desirable by future users.
